ROCKPORT, Mass. — A pair of influencers who recently attempted to make a reaction video while under the influence of cannabis did not realize they were actually just FaceTiming each other the entire time.
“I thought I was reacting to him, but he thought he was reacting to me,” began explaining influencer Cameron Fuller. “This went on for about 6 hours until my phone started dying and I thought I was hitting the ‘stop filming’ button but actually just hung up on him.”
Fuller’s partner influencer had an identical experience, accidentally FaceTiming with Fuller instead of reacting to a third-party video.
“I was definitely wondering for a while why the video we’re reacting to looks like Fuller reacting to a video, but I assumed that was part of it,” added Chase Miller, fellow influencer. “When we started doing the Marx Brothers mirror bit by mistake I thought I was just experiencing some sort of otherworldly, out-of-body thing. Turns out we were just staring at each other the whole time.”
While Fuller hung up after 6 hours when his phone died, Miller later confirmed his phone lasted an additional 3 hours, during which time he was staring at himself in the FaceTime window, thinking he was filming a reaction video to some sort of multiverse twin.

Speaking of absurdity, did you know there are still over 40,000 people locked up on nonviolent cannabis-related charges around the US? It’s time to let them out.
